Another Code R dated for Europe

Wii sequel to the DS classic is out on 26 June

Nintendo has announced that Another Code R: A Journey Into Lost Memories will be released on 26 June in the UK.

This sequel is set two years after the original DS game and sees Ashley, now 16, receiving a letter from her father inviting her to join him for a weekend together at Lake Juliet, a camping resort.

When she gets there though, she realises that there's more to Lake Juliet than meets the eye: she has a faint memory of being there 13 years ago shortly before her mother died.

The game's looking great: we were recently in Japan checking it out and talking to the development team behind it. You can read our preview here.

Yeah when is Excitebots coming this way? I can get the US version (got an US and EU Wii (latter since a week), but rather wait for the EU version.

Concerning Another Code R release, can't wait. Just got myself Broken Sword, plus Zack & Wiki and Sam & Max make the point & click genre alive and kicking again on the Wii! *Here's hoping for a full Monkey Island series remake for on the Wii*.

Yessss. I'm definitely getting this. Shame it's out three days before our babys due date. I'll order it online and take my Wii to hospital if I have to lol.

I loved the first game, can't wait for this. Better start saving, and it arrives just as school ends...

As posted elsewhere I'm happy a sequel has been made of this game. One thing needs clearing up though: Ashley is confirmed as being 13 in the original game. She is also confirmed as being 16 in this version but it's only set two years after. Either that wasn't thought through very well or the gap is a little more than two years?
