The Pokémon Village Fete is coming to Nottingham on Friday and fans can see what to expect by checking out our gallery of pictures from the Sunderland event.

The fete took place at the Sunderland Air Show last weekend and, as you can see, it all takes place in a marquee.

Once inside, you'll be able to go to the Training Academy where you'll be taught the skills to become a Pokémon Trainer. But if you already know how to train Pokémon, you can head straight to the Battle Zone where you can take on opponents in Pokémon Platinum on DS. You can also play Pokémon Battle Revolution for the Wii in the Challenge Zone.

Of course, fans of the Pokémon games will want to get their hands on the legendary 486th Pokémon Regigigas who is only available at this event.

Yet the fete is not just about the games. As you can see, you can play the Trading Card Game but there is also face painting and balloon modelling going on, and you'll be able to watch the 11th Pokémon movie - Pokémon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior.

The Pokémon Village Fete will be at the Nottingham River Festival this weekend and continues aross Britain throughout the summer. Click here for the remaining dates...
