Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto has reassured fans that the company has plenty of ideas for the Wii Vitality Sensor.
Unveiled at E3 by Satoru Iwata, the Wii Vitality Sensor taps into your heartbeat by measuring your pulse and Iwata said that it could be used in a horror game, to help you unwind or even fall asleep.
However, despite all this talk no games were unveiled for the Vitality Sensor but in an interview with Mercury News, Miyamoto, encouraged fans to keep the faith. "Ideally we would have been able to talk about this in terms of the software implementation rather than just the sensor itself. I don't have any indication for you (of what we have in the works) other than to say that we have lots of very creative ideas.

"We understand the challenge before us, and we have met these challenges in the past. We just ask that people have confidence in us."
In the same interview, he also spoke of the challenge that faces Nintendo's rivals when it comes to motion sensor controllers. "One of the challenges is not just to create a natural controller, but how do you get it into the hands of the people? How do you do that cost effectively?," said Miyamoto.
"I think we've accomplished that. We have sold millions of controllers at a good price point. And we have that delivery system successfully already implemented.
"For other companies starting from zero and trying to figure out how to get it out there at a decent price point is a big challenge."
What do you think of Miyamoto's comments? Are you looking forward to Vitality Sensor?
