As you might know by now, Flipnote Studio is being released in the UK tomorrow but it's not the only new download available from Friday.
DSi owners can download Sujin Taisen Number Battles, the WiiWare games Family Slot Car Racing and 3-2-1, Rattle Battle! are also available while fans of retro RPGs can get hold of Phantasy Star on Master System.
Of course many of you will already know about Flipnote Studio (Free) but for those who don't, it is a DSi application that allows you to create your own flipbook animations and publish them online.
It's simple to use as you draw on the touch screen with the stylus, choosing from different pen, paint and paper types. Save your creation as a single Flipnote or create multiple pages to turn it into an animation, just like a flip book.

The other DSiWare game available from tomorrow is Nintendo's Sujin Taisen: Number Battles (500 DSi Points) It's described as a new kind of board game that combines puzzle and strategy. You take turns against human or computer opponents in an attempt to reach a target score by placing numbered tiles on the board.
You can score points by linking tiles of the same number, sequence of numbers, or tiles in a loop. Special squares will affect play in new ways and you there are useful items that aid you in your pursuit of points.
You can go it alone in the main Story or Puzzle modes or battle against up to three opponents online.
Family Slot Car Racing (500 Wii Points) is a new WiiWare slot car racing game from Askys. You can race as Daddy, Mummy, Sarah, or Billy around three circuits, each composed of multiple race tracks and bonus tracks. You can also race against a friend in a two-player contest.
There are multiple slot cars available with different grip and speed ratings. As you progress you'll unlock new courses and more slot cars to help you reach the top of the racing circuit.
Then there's 3-2-1, Rattle Battle! (500 Wii Points), a party game from Tecmo. It features 12 quirky mini-games and we're told that they'll be easy to play with their 'easy shake-centric gameplay'. There's a Wi-Fi Rankings board so you can compare your scores in mini-games such as Rattle Fever and Rattle Rocket.
Finally RPG fans can enjoy the original Phantasy Star (500 Wii Points) game all over again this week. Originally released on the Sega Master System in 1988, Phantasy Star is one of the first story-driven RPGs to be released in the West. It also stars one of the first female leads in Alis who is out to avenge her brother's death at the hands of the cruel tyrant King Lassic.
Flipnote Studio
You guide Alis and her friends through the sprawling environments of the Algol Solar System in an attempt to defeat King Lassic and liberate the people of Algol. Unlike modern Phantasy Star games, the combat is turn-based turn-based and you'll be taking on dragons, ghouls, giants, and magicians using glowing daggers, crossbows, and magic spells.
Aside from Flipnote Studio, will you be downloading any of these titles?
