Behind the scenes on this month's mag...
Quite a month. To celebrate our world exclusive, in-depth preview of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, we put together four different covers to buy in the shops, and an extra special one for our loyal subscribers. Which one did you get?

The game itself is everything you'd expect - in single player, it's more of the magic 2D platforming formula that we all know and love. In multiplayer, it's transformed. Despite Scullion winning every single bleedin' time, it's a riotous romp through the Mushroom Kingdom, and there are all manner of tactics to be employed. Yoshi's a particularly potent weapon - swallowing up your adversaries from a distance then spitting them down a pit to their doom is one of the many joys of competitive play. There's much more in the mag, of course.

What else? There's the first review of Professor Layton and the Pandora's Box, which is excellent, of course; a peek at No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, a literal truckload of downloadable games, the surprisingly good Cursed Mountain, plus Pokémon, Smash Bros. and Japanese gaming features that we're particularly proud of.

But you'll see all that in the mag - I won't spoil any more. If you've got the magazine already, please do tell us what you think in the comments below. We're always listening!
