Nintendo will show off Pokémon Rumble at the forthcoming Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle.
The game was released in Japan in June under the name Melee! Pokémon Scramble but it will be known as Pokémon Rumble in the west.
According to Nintendo, Pokémon Rumble lets you lets you battle with Pokémon like never before. Described as an action-packed game, it sees four players teaming up to unleash powerful attacks on the enemies that surround them.
You control clockwork Pokémon which you can wind up and battle with opponents. In single-player mode you'll begin as a low-level Pokémon who, when released into the wild, fights other Pokémon in real-time battles. However, Rumble does feature elements from traditional Pokémon games as you capture Pokémon and add them to your team
Once you're at a higher level, you'll unlock the Battle Royale and here you can team up with friends or play solo. You fight dozens of Pokémon in an arena and once you've survived three waves you'll level up. Eventually you'll face legendary Pokémon.
