Did you know it has been four years since Nintendogs was released for DS? Well you do now. And to celebrate the puppy's birthday, Nintendo are releasing a series of special downloads for Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City.
For the next four weeks you can download a different Nintendogs puppy every week, starting with a Labrador on 7 October which also happens to be Nintendogs official birthday!
Then a Chihuahua puppy will become available on 14 October, followed by a Dachshund on 21 October and finally a spotty Dalmatian on 3 November.
If you want to download a dog, you need to have your Wii connected to the internet in order to receive letters from Nintendo with special items attached. You also need to ensure that the WiiConnect24 settings in Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City allows communication with other users.
We're being promised an array of different items over the forthcoming months, so keep an eye on those mailboxes!
