Excitebike is back! Yes, a new game in Nintendo's classic bike racing series will be released for WiiWare in the US next month and you can watch the first footage below!
The new game is called Excitebike: World Rally and it is an update of the 1984 NES game. The game was announced on the US Nintendo Channel and as with the original, you'll be racing against rivals on obstacle courses. The game will feature a track editor, an online multi-player mode and it also boasts updated motion controls although you can control your bikes using just the buttons.
Excite Truck is available now on Wii but there hasn't been a proper Excitebike game since the Excitebike 64 was released on Nintendo 64 in 2001. Exciting stuff!
