Shigeru Miyamoto has explained how the new Legend Of Zelda Wii game will use MotionPlus to improve sword fighting and targeting.
Speaking at a Q&A session at Nintendo's latest financial results briefing, Miyamoto said "We're using MotionPlus to make you feel much more like you're actually fighting while holding a sword in your hand."
Miyamoto also claimed that MotionPlus would help the targeting system, saying "In the previous game, you aimed at things by pointing at the screen, but this time we'll use MotionPlus to create a much more convenient targeting system and a more pleasurable playing experience."
We have heard little about the new Legend Of Zelda Wii game since Miyamoto unveiled it at E3 earlier this year. There Miyamoto told us about his plans for the as-yet-untitled game that he hopes will be released next year. Click here to read more from Miyamoto on the new game.
