ONM: All 50 Covers!

Look back at the first 50 issues
Official Nintendo Magazine is 50! It's amazing to think that it has been over three and a half years since we launched the first issue of the new-look Official Nintendo Magazine back in February 2006.

The DS was the star of the first issue and you can see the chunky silver handheld on our very first front cover in the gallery below. How times have changed - since then Nintendo has released two more DS consoles (DS Lite and DSi) and the third (DSi XL) will be launched next year.

The next two covers were the big DS games of the day - Animal Crossing: Wild World and Metroid Prime: Hunters - but from issue 4 onwards we were building up to what would be the event of the year: the launch of the Wii. Although when we put Red Steel on our cover the console was still being referred to as Revolution.

We celebrated the launch of the Wii in issue 11 and from then on it was all about the games. There really have been many great Wii and DS titles that have adorned our covers from Super Mario Galaxy to Wii Sports Resort and The Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks which graces our landmark 50th issue. You can read more about the 50th issue here.

We reveal our top ten favourite covers in the new issue of the magazine but take a look at the gallery of covers below and let us know which one is your favourite.

Have any of you got all 50 issues? Feel free to share your favourite moments from the magazine below.
