Christmas Day falls on a Friday this year but that doesn't mean that there won't be any new downloads waiting for you in the Wii or DSiWare shops. So far Rayman and The Mystery Of Whiterock Castle have been confirmed for 25 December but will there be more?
It's good to see Rayman return after being usurped by the Rabbids and this, the first Rayman adventure for DSiWare, will see the limbless legend attempting to save his world from the evil Mr Dark. You'll be able to punch enemies as you run or fly through colourful levels and the game even makes use of the DSi camera, taking a photo of your face as you reach a checkpoint.

Set in medieval times, The Mystery of Whiterock Castle sees a young squire searching for a young princess who has mysteriously vanished from her chambers.
Playing as the young squire, you have to use your lantern and magnifying glass to search through numerous chambers and gloomy dungeons. You also receive hints from many peculiar characters.
You can find hidden objects on your own, team up with a friend or compete against each other. There are secret hiding places, bonus items, plus various multi-player modes and highscore lists.
Be warned though. We are told that this game has been designed to be suitable for children, and especially suited for young players and families.
Will you be doing any downloading on Christmas Day?
