Just Dance leads the UK charts for a second week running. Ubisoft's dancing beat beat Modern Warfare 2, Wii Fit Plus and Army of Two to take top spot.
How has this happend? Well according to Ubisoft's Murray Pannel there are a number of factors behind its success.
"In large part, its popularity is due to the extensive marketing campaign that surrounded the release," Pannel told ONM. "This included a heavyweight TV campaign which kicked off with a spot on X Factor, a shopping centre trial tour, print and online advertising, great PR and a mobile competition where you could win your ultimate party.
"Also, the popularity of "dance" in general appears to be at the highest it has been, and this is evident with the current TV scheduling of things like 'Strictly', Sky's 'Got To Dance' and 'Britains Got Talent' to name but a few. I guess, Just Dance is the epitome of this current trend and the beauty is that it appeals to everyone."
