With the new Pokémon that were revealed this weekend, over 20 new Pokémon have now been revealed for Black & White. That takes the total number to over 500 and no doubt some people will consider that too many but that's a debate for another day. For now we've got enough new Pokémon to make up a team so I thought I'd look at which ones would be in my group.
It's just a bit of fun. Of course not all of these Pokémon will be available from the start and if the old mon do make an appearance, I'd probably include some of my old favourites like Psyduck.
Little is known about the eight new Pokémon that were revealed over the weekend. We can see what they look like but we don't know about their types so it's very difficult to select any of them for my team. What I would say is that, even thougt we can only see it from behind, I like the look of Desukaan, a coffin with spindly arms. I'm a fan of these weird looking creatures who aren't based on animals. Having said that, I do like moles so Doryuuzu appeals to me also.
Yet neither of these two will make my team. My Starter is going to be Mijumaru. I've decided this Pokémon needs a bit of love. He looks miserable and out of the three, he's by far the least popular. Plus I like to have a team of varying types so I need a water Pokémon. And the reason for this is because I've chosen Hihidaruma as my fire Pokémon. He looks like a beast!
My electric choice is Shimama although if Denchura is indeed an electric tarantula I may have to change my mind on that one. Now, seeing as this is a fantasy team I'm going for Zekrom next. I may have trouble catching this legendary but he looks very powerful and I prefer him to Reshiram.
I'd also like Zoroark, one of the first two Pokémon to be revealed, mainly because its illusion move sounds brilliant. My team will be completed by Munna. As I said earlier, I like weird Pokémon and this one fits the bill. A pink blobby psychic with flowers on its side. You can't get stranger than that.
