Nintendo has released it's latest financial results and there's good news for two of its biggest games of the last year with Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver and Mario Galaxy 2 both selling in big numbers.
HeartGold/SoulSilver has now sold 10.09 million copies worldwide since it was released in Japan in September 2009. The remakes of the Game Boy originals were released in the UK earlier this year.
Meanwhile Mario Galaxy 2 has also performed well. It has sold 4.09 million copies worldwide which is pretty impressive considering it was only released in Japan and the US in June.
As for hardware, DS has now sold 132 million worldwide while 73.97 million Wii consoles have been shifted.
Good to see Pokémon selling so well. Bodes well for Black and White...
