With the release of Metroid: Other M being just over a month away, Nintendo TV has explored Samus Aran's past in a new episode which is now live on the Wii's Nintendo Channel.
Episode 7 of the show from the makers of Official Nintendo Magazine charts Samus Aran's meteoric rise from her humble beginnings on the NES right up to Other M for Wii.
You can relive the moment when Samus Aran was revealed to be a woman, see her transformation into a 3D action hero in the Prime games and watch exclusive footage of Metroid: Other M.
You'll also learn more about Other M's storyline which we're told will be every bit as interesting for Metroid fans as the gameplay itself.
