Capcom has announced a list of downloadable content that will be available for Mega Man 9 in the near future.
Mega Man 9 is due out for download on WiiWare later this week, but the downloadable content won't be available until next month, where it will arrive in two waves.
The first set of DLC (due on 6 October) includes two downloads: "Proto Man Mode" and "Endless Attack". The second, due on 20 October, features "Hero Mode", "Superhero Mode" and "Special Stage". Here's a run-down of each download:
Proto Man Mode (200 Points): Lets you play through the game as Proto Man. Proto Man can block while jumping, and also has a slide ability, but he gets knocked back further when he's attacked. You can't use Proto Man in the world rankings.

Endless Attack (300 Points): A special extra stage that never ends. You have to see how far you can get before dying. This stage will have its own leaderboard in the world rankings.
Hero Mode (100 Points): A harder difficulty level which sees more enemies on each stage. Doesn't count in the world rankings.
Superhero Mode (100 Points) - An even harder difficulty level with even more enemies on each stage. Doesn't count in the world rankings.
Special Stage (100 Points): A completely new Time Attack stage, with a different boss at the end. This stage will have its own leaderboard in the world rankings.
So there you have it. If you buy all of the extra downloadable content the total cost of the game will be 1800 Points, which is about £12. Do you think this is fair enough, since the DLC isn't needed to complete the game and is just extra content, or do you think it should have been included from the start?
