DS owners with a Wii can now download a free playable demo of Big Bang Mini, the upcoming shoot 'em up from SouthPeak Games. And believe us, it's worth a download.
We've been following the progress of Big Bang Mini since we first went hands-on with it at the Leipzig Games Convention last summer.
It grabbed our eye because it's a truly unique game with stylised graphics, a great soundtrack and a compelling control system.
We're tipping Big Bang Mini to be this year's Soul Bubbles: a DS game that everyone who plays it will fall in love with because of its originality and visual style. We just hope it's more successful than Soul Bubbles was.

To try out the demo and see why we're making such a big fuss, you need a DS and Wii with the Nintendo Channel downloaded. As long as you're signed up to send data to Nintendo (you can change the option in the Nintendo Channel itself), you can find the demo from the Big Bang Mini information page. Once you choose the demo the Wii will ask you to turn on your DS and select Download Play. The Wii will then download the demo and send it to your DS.
We definitely recommend giving this a go. It's a great game.
