Fragile: Farewell Ruins Of The Moon Confirmed For UK

New Wii game from the makers of Baten Kaitos
Rising Star has announced that it will release Fragile: Farewell Ruins Of The Moon for the Wii in early 2010.

Fragile is from the makers of the GameCube role-playing game Baten Kaitos and Eternal Sonata. This fantasy adventure is set in the near future in a world where the population has been decimated.

Playing as Seto you search through the abandoned cities and facilities of the world, trying to find someone to keep you company as you search for the truth behind the disappearance of the population. In addition to exploration, Seto has to deal with ghosts who appear in the ruins.

You'll explore the dark world with the aid of your Wii Remote that functions as a flashlight and as a proximity sensor to help you hunt down invisible ghosts. As you play you'll encounter other characters as you discover the back story behind scavenged objects that provide insight on people's last days before the apocalypse.

"We're incredibly excited about bringing Fragile to the PAL territories. There's been a massive upsurge of interest for this title since being showcased in Famitsu (Japan)" explained Simon Alty, Rising Star Games' Head of Brand. "The feedback from fans in our forums was that this was a title they wanted us to champion and we are very excited to respond to that 'fan power' with this announcement."
